In order to be approved to serve food at the Legends Valley Music Festival, all applicants must:

-Provide a clear scan of your VIHA Mobile Vending Unit permit with 2017 decal

All VIHA Mobile Vending Unit permits must be received by July 1, 2017.
Limited spaces are available so we urge you to submit your scanned permit with 2017 decal as soon as you receive it.

Bio-Cup Canada / Legends Valley Music Festival is two distinct events coming together to create a full weekend celebration with live music, exhibitors, vendors, artisans, educational seminars and grower awards..not to mention incredible food & beverages and more!

Laketown Ranch Music & Recreation Park, 8811-2 Youbou Rd., Cowichan, BC.

Turn (Right from Nanaimo, left from Vic) on Highway 18 to Lake Cowichan. Veer right onto Youbou Rd.


1.) All vendors need to be self-contained and self-sufficient. If a generator is required it must be silent. Vendors are required to supply their own food preparation equipment, hand-wash stations, display materials, lighting, weatherproofing, and flooring (if necessary). Water and power access are not available from the event organizers.

2.) Set-up is between 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM, Tuesday, August 22, 2017. Or Wednesday August 23 between 9:00 AM – 11:00AM

3.) The event runs from 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM. All food vendors must be set-up and ready for business at 10:30 AM for health inspections.

4.) Non essential vehicles are not allowed on the event site after 10:00 AM. Parking is not provided, please make alternative arrangements.

5.) The event organizers reserve the right to close any booth deemed in violation of local, city, or event ordinances, or anything considered to be detrimental to the success of the event.

6.) Vendors are required to staff and supervise their own space during hours of operation.

7.) Vendor space is not transferable nor may it be subdivided without prior agreement of the event organizers.

8.) We ask that you please provide at least 5 food vouchers for us to use to feed staff, crew, and volunteers.

9.) Food Vendors are responsible to provide their own shims to prop their trucks/trailers up to level ground. There is a good chance you will be placed on a slope.

10.) We want Legends Valley to be a Zero Waste site! You are responsible for the removal of all garbage generated in your area. Failure to do so may result in a $150 fine.
